• Updating products
To download the latest release of our plug-ins, you need to register your product.You will then be able to access the user download section by entering either the email address you entered during the registration process, or your product reference.Your product reference is its serial number if you have a Flux:: dongle (it can be seen in the security manager application), or your iLok.com user id if you use iLok to authorize our plug-ins.In the user download area, you can access your personal dongle update file, if available, as well as the latest software packages.Select the one appropriate to your operating system to download it.Install the Flux:: plug-ins.
• Updating authorizations
If you have upgraded your authorizations, you have to transfer these authorizations to your USB dongle.If you use an iLok authorization key, go to www.iLok.com, and transfer the authorization to the iLok key by selecting "Download Licenses" in the left-hand menu.If you use a Flux:: dongle, login to your personal download area (see above "How to Update to the latest version of your product"), and in the "authorization updates" part at the top of the page, follow the instructions.Run SecurityManager.exe located in C:\Program Files\Flux\Plug-ins\Misc on PC.On Mac, this application can be found in the plug-in installer disc image (dmg).The Security Manager displays the serial number of the dongle that is currently plugged into your computer. In this application, click the update button. Select the dongle update previously saved on your hard drive, and click open. It's done* (ou mieux - juste "Done!"). The active licenses are listed and you're ready to use your Flux:: plug-ins.If you are upgrading from a version prior to release 1.2, be aware that your dongle requires an update in order to work. If you haven't already received the update by e-mail, please request it from Flux:: by e-mail at support@fluxhome.com.
NB: On Mac OS, the security manager does not display the authorizations handled by an iLok key, if you have one.
The DSP version for VS3 / Pyramix is managed by Merging Technologies' security system. Specific updates and upgrades must be requested from Merging Technologies. -
When installed, the security dongle authorizes the FLUX:: plug-ins to run in native mode on any MAC or PC, AU, RTAS or VST compatible host.
The DSP version of FLUX products using Merging Technologies VS3 for Pyramix, must be purchased from Merging Technologies. Mergin Technologies manage their own security system.

If you own a Flux dongle and want to move your authorizations to your iLok dongle, please, observe the following points:
- • E-mail your demand to support, asking for a transfer to iLok. In your mail, give us the serial number of the Flux:: dongle you wish to transfer from.
- • You will be given a special update file that you can retrieve via the user download section.
- • Also download the latest Flux:: plug-ins and install them.
- • Launch the security manager that comes with the plug-ins.
- • Under MacOS, go to the File menu, and select "switch to iLok..." item.
• Under Windows, click on the button named "iLok Transfer update..."
- • Select the update file you have just downloaded.
- • After the update process, you will be asked to save a Validation file.
- • Send us this validation file by mail at support, and precise your iLok.com user id.
- • The authorization will be credited to your iLok.com account.
Warning: Once the update applied to your dongle, no more unlimited authorizations are present. Flux:: gives you one hour of processing for your products, whilst awaiting the iLok.com authorization.
Note that Flux dongle is not deprecated and will not become unsupported in the foreseeable future. This process is just a convenient way for our users that wish to simplify their USB chain. Moreover, time limited versions of our current and future products will only be available with the Flux dongle
Note also that transferring iLok autorizations to a Flux dongle is not possible.

Yes. FLUX uses a particular detection algorithm allowing both stereo and MS.
Note also that the Epure equalizer plug-in features up to 4 MS encoder/decoder and associated I/O routings.

All Flux plug-ins support up 384 KHz operation up to 8 channels. Please note that this 8 x fs sampling rate isn't necessarily supported by all possible host applications.
Only the Free Trial versions are limited to 48 KHz and stereo operation.

When running in native mode, the audio processing works internally in 64 bit float precision and up to 384 KHz sample rate, from mono to 8 channels.
When running in VS3 DSP mode, the audio processing works internally in 32 bit float precision, up to 384 KHz sample rate.

Downloaded files can be appended with a .bz2 extension. Just remove this unwanted extension to retrieve the original .dmg extension and allow the installers to work.
