Controls for the Release settings and High/Low pass filters setting the highest/lowest frequency feeding the Release section. Selection of what Dynamics Profile desired for the detection on the actual band (Flux processors offer a range of different ways to detect the dynamics of the incoming signal).

Lookahead (0/20 ms), allows for a decrease of the gain before any potential audio peaks. a key-point for avoiding audio distortion.

Make Up gain, increases the output gain from the threshold value. Bypass routes the incoming signal direct to the output for a true smooth transition. Release Filter Solo, monitor the signal feeding the release section. Link Channels, linking the limiting on one channel to limit the other(s) as well.

Two display alternatives are available; (A) shows the waveform of the output signal and the limiting action in red, (B) shows the waveform of the output signal as a histogram and the limiting action is displayed in red on a separate histogram. The blue line reflects the release value.

To enhance the workflow, the two Preset/Parameter slots, A and B, can be loaded with two different presets ie. two full set of parameters at the same time. Apart from saving each preset, a "Global Preset" containing both the A and B settings, and the postion of the "Morphing Slider", can be saved.

The Morphing Slider provide morphing between the parameter settings of slot A/B allowing for really creative and useful realtime tweaking. Enabling the Automation control button exposes the Morphing Slider to the host automation.

Unless you use it as a special effect, Pure Limiter should be the very last stage of your audio processing chain. It uses exclusive FLUX:: technologies to generate a release envelope producing no artifacts on the processed sound.
Transparent limiting, dramatically increasing the average audio level can now be achieved without damaging the perceived audio quality.

As usual with FLUX:: plug-ins there is no compromise between simplicity of use and the exhaustiveness of accessible parameters. An automatic mode allows quick operation in most cases, but a manual mode and an advanced mode are also there to allow you total control of the processing.

To make setting even easier, the Pure Limiter also features two display modes:

When mode A is engaged, both original and limited waveforms are displayed.
Mode B displays the limited waveform, the limiter action and the histogram of the release value, which is especially useful when running in advanced mode.

The Pure Limiter is 384 KHz and 8 channel compatible. It also features the exclusive A / B preset morphing function.
